Research Questions

Throughout this term, we have been learning about early childhood education from different perspective. We have delved into renowned theories that shape and define early learning, studied various aspects of growth and development, gained insights into policy and governance, and investigated the importance of health and wellness in early childhood education. Based on the knowledge I have acquired thus far; I am interested in exploring the potential benefits and challenges of using advanced technologies to support young learners. Being a Muslim, Pakistani Canadian trying to preserve aspects of culture while practicing Islam and raising my family in Canada, I am curious about the effectiveness of inclusive practices and their impact on children’s development in diverse educational settings. As a parent who chose homeschooling for my children, I am intrigued by the differences in academic success and social development between children in formal early education settings and those who are homeschooled. The three research questions below reflect my emerging and percolating ideas and thoughts about the early years sector.
